BIO

Hello, Jiayou Shen here. As of winter 2022, I am a sophomore at the University of Michigan, with a prospective major in psychology and a minor in writing. I have been writing and creating worlds for as long as I can remember.

I also am a hobbyist artist. The ability to think about things visually helps me better conceptualize parts of my writing. The icon above was made by me and is a self-portrait or a "self-square". My other hobbies are sleeping, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy writing at home, with a nice tall bubble tea drink. I'll start writing at my desk, before eventually migrating into writing in bed. It helps me write better. I think.
